Racing With Jesus – Heading To Darlington

As the team prepares for the Darlington race, we want to share some of the great coverage that Morgan Shepherd and the Racing With Jesus Dodge have been getting this past week.

Aside from their usual coverage of the Nationwide racing series, the Hotlap has joined in the excitement and sentiment for Morgan and his team.

Knowing that the tires for the Richmond race were provided by Tony Stewart and Matt Yocum, the Hotlap decided to join in by announcing their “sticker tires for faith” promotion.

The Hotlap established a donation pool to raise the money to provide Morgan a set of “sticker” tires for the Charlotte race.

Seeking to raise some $1700.00 (the cost for 1 set of tires), they kicked off the campaign with $200.00 as a jump-start.

Within 72 hours the goal had been reached!

May 8: HOUSTON – WE HAVE LIFTOFF!! – As of May 8th at 3:23PM EST we have raised the $1700.00 for a set of sticker tires to be donated to Morgan Shepherd and the #89 team for the NASCAR Nationwide Series May 24 CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 at Lowes’ Motor Speedway. We wish to thank everyone who donated and helped make this happen – great job!!!
Due to Morgan’s “oh so excellent” and most popular 13th place finish at Talladega - and all of the support streaming in from within the NASCAR community and racing communities in general - TheHotLap.com has decided to start a “Sticker Tires For Faith” fund with the goal of donating a set of tires for Sat May 24th’s NASCAR Nationwide CARQUEST Auto Parts 300 at Lowe’s Motor Speedway. We need to raise $1700.00 for one set.
