We chose the name Lion and Lamb Books for a specific reason. Scripture tells us that Jesus first came as the Lamb of God to be the perfect sacrifice for the redemption of all mankind.
John 1:36 – And looking upon Jesus as He walked, he says, Behold the Lamb of God!
When Jesus returns, he will return as the Lion of Judah. And He won’t be coming back to preach! Are you ready? Until then, we plan to continue our mission:
- Feed the hungry.
- Clothe the naked.
- Give shelter to the homeless.
As individuals, we realize that we have limits as to what we are able to do. At the same time, we recognize that whenever God places someone in our path, it’s for a reason.
Aside from what we, as individuals try to accomplish, we want you to know that fully 50% of all proceeds from this site is donated to further the Kingdom of Jesus Christ. The following is a partial listing of the projects that we support:
- Operation Blessing. This is a worldwide outreach of emergency aid that is a part of CBN.
- International Fellowship of Christians and Jews. Through this organization, we support the On Wings of Eagles program, returning displaced Jews to their homeland.
- Wheeler Mission. This is an organization providing food & shelter to the homeless in our local community.
- Racing With Jesus. An outreach ministry begun by Morgan Shepherd to bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the fans and people of NASCAR.
These are organizations that we support and recommend. Through these organizations, our contributions are being leveraged in such a way that they accomplish far more than we, as individuals, could ever hope to accomplish.
